Precision Measuring Instrument

The lcd display micrometer is a precision measuring instrument, used by engineers. This micrometer measures in metric and inches and provides a digital readout on a clear LCD screen. The tool features a C2 carbide ground anvil and spindle for added durability and accuracy. The object to be measured is placed between the anvil face and the spindle face.

A dial test indicator, also known as a lever arm test indicator or finger indicator, has a smaller measuring range than a standard dial indicator. A test indicator measures the deflection of the arm, the probe does not retract but swings in an arc around its hinge point. The lever may be interchanged for length or ball diameter, and permits measurements to be taken in narrow grooves and small bores where the body of a probe type may not reach.

Dial Vernier Caliper is a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object. The dial give a direct reading of the distance measured with high accuracy and precision. In this instrument, a small, precise rack and pinion drives a pointer on a circular dial, allowing direct reading without the need to read a Vernier scale. Typically, the pointer rotates once every inch, tenth of an inch, or 1 millimeter.

Digital Vernier Caliper is a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object The digital meter gives a direct reading of the distance measured with high accuracy and precision. A refinement now popular is the replacement of the analog dial with an electronic digital display on which the reading is displayed as a single value.

A Vernier scale allows more accurate interpolation, and is the universal practice to measure the distance between 2 opposite sides of an object.

A vernier type dial gauge utilizes the movement of the verniers jaws as a measurement input. These gauges indicate measurements both on the dial and on the conventional vernier scale. The vernier type gauge is capable of producing very accurate measurements across the vernier's standard inside and outside diameter and depth measuring ranges. The analog dial gauge may be capable of allowing the needle to travel around the dial several times if the measurement input is large enough. These gauges then have a second, smaller dial, much like a wristwatch lap timer, on their face which indicate the number of full revolutions of the needle.
